Dr. Saket Sarraf

Dr. Saket Sarraf, an architect-planner has over 15 years of professional, teaching and research experience in the US and India. His interest spans across Urban Planning, Sustainable development, Regional science, and System dynamics modelling. He heads PS Collective, which is envisaged as a platform for advocacy, research, policy analysis and professional consultancy. He has worked with organizations like the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Govt. of India), USAID, International Council for Local Environment Initiatives (ICLEI), Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation among others. He is also the coordinator for the new doctoral program in Planning at the CEPT University, Ahmedabad.

He obtained his Doctorate in Regional Science, and Masters in Urban Planning from the Department of Urban & Regional Planning, University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. His dissertation on modelling the social drivers of urban growth won him the outstanding PhD. award in 2006. He has a Bachelor’s in Architecture (Hons.) from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

Dr. Sarraf has presented at many national and international forums, and has numerous professional affiliations and certifications to his credit.
